This it to inform you about the conference on the fight against
counterfeiting and piracy that is organized on February 15, 2008 at
the law school of the University of Geneva (see detailed program -
with on-line registration - at: www.unige.ch/formcont/pi) where the
topic will be addressed from an international (WIPO/WTO), European and
Swiss perspectives and where the issue of counterfeiting and piracy on
the Internet (including for drugs) will also be debated.

I thought that you may have an interest for this event and I hope that
I will have a chance to welcome you there.

I hope that you had a good start in 2008 and that everything goes fine for
you.

I am contacting you spontaneously today in order to inform you about the
conference on the fight against counterfeiting and piracy that I am
organizing on February 15, 2008 (see detailed program at:

which - I guess - could be of interest to you and/or to other people at
ICTSD. I am pleased to let you know in this context that the student tariff
would exceptionally apply should ICTSD people wish to attend the conference
(CHF 80.- instead of CHF 400.-).

I hope that you will have an interest in this event and that I will have a
chance to welcome you there.

On a more general front, I would be very interested to discuss with the IPR
team at ICTSD at some point in order to explore potential cooperation
activities between us.
