During the week of a worldwide celebrated World AIDS Day, REBRIP's Work
Group in Intellectual Property (GTPI), which is currently coordinated by th=
e
Brazilian Interdisciplinary AIDS Association (ABIA), launched a national
campaign on the impacts of the patent system's abuses on the access to
essential medicines, including the ones necessary for treating HIV/Aids.

On the campaign website, people can find information about the impact of
patents on public health and on access to essential medicines, and can also
read GTPI's documents and take part in this campaign by sending an e-mail t=
o
the competent authorities through the website.
