[A2k] WIPO Workshop on Digital Preservation and Copyright: Digital versionsof materials now available

Nick and all,

  The US presentation by Columbia university doesn't accurately
of fully reflect "Fair Use" practice or recent court decisions, nor
is it widely supported by the majority of Americans.  Ergo, it is
difficult if not impossible to consider WIPO's approach to addressing
this problem.  Further given ACTA secret meetings in which public
input was not allowed what so ever, the WIPO process obviously
leaves much to be desired at a minimum.

it becomes more clear that the international approach needs allot
of work and much more grass roots active access and participation
as well as individual approval process.
