70 experts in free software for the European administration,
representing the industry, scientists and organizations of consumers
participate in th conference on the 17th April held in in the European
Parliament, organized by the eurodiputado David Hammerstein and the
Green Group in the European Parliament.
The increasing interest that exists by Free Software, both by
individuals and use in Public Administration is confirmed. "the good
news is that free software is mature, and can with confidence be
incorporated in Administration. David Hammerstein eurodiputado Green
Party declared "The time has arrived to open the doors of European
institutions to open interoperability and open standards. Europe must
be coherent in its actions in the European Parliament as in tribunals.
The impact is very important to Europe, as much to do with ecological,

every few years, as economic , by the waste of public money spent
buying unnecessary licenses.
