Dear All
The pamphlet below is worth reading for the interview with Andrew
Gowers( of the Gowers review) . He refers to the Adelphi Charter
( his starting point) Lessig ( he asked me to draw a line in the sand
and say enough on IP expansion.. and I have). Comments that IP too
long a priesthood ( the courts) on the one hand and a (IP)lobbyists
playground on the other with the exclusion of the people who pay-
consumers. He also says that TRIPS would not be passed today for a
number of reasons including greater awareness that one size fits all
IP policy does not work for developing countries.
