Interesting work. I am quite dubious of data on licensing revenues because
of (1) complexity of corporate ownership structures and and the
confidentiality of revenues and (2) many large rights-owners seek to
minimise tax and arrange revenues to go off-shore. However all these
factors would result in this kind of official data being under-stated. So
the 'real' figure is likely higher.
