[A2k] Christophe Espern supports international A2K initiatives at Linux Solutions Paris

Christophe Espern is one of the leaders of APRIL a free software NGO in Fra=
nce and was the leader of the EUCD.INFO initiative during the transposition=
 of the EU Copyright Directive in France. This morning, in the opening sess=
ion of the Linux Solutions exhibit and technology, Christophe Espern gave a=
n excellent talk on policy perspectives for free software and information c=
ommons. He stressed foremost the need to support international A2K initiati=
ves such as the Geneva Declaration, the development agenda and the A2K trea=
ty. APRIL has produced a questionnaire for candidates to the coming French =
presidential elections where questions regarding support to these initiativ=
es are raised, as well as detailed questions on positions on various Europe=
an legislative texts.
