	Good afternoon,

The french movement for free software "APRIL" has
written a long list of questions to all candidates
to the french presidential election that will occur
	in ten days.

Most of them (from the left side) have given a written answer.

You can have a look to all questions and answers (in french)
	at : http://www.candidats.fr

Questions have a very large spectrum, from patenting
	to education.

I strongly recommend you the answers by José Bové, an
"altermondialist" candidate, which where written by a
team of specialists of free software in France. This can be
considered as a political program for the Free Software
	movement in France.

The answer by Dominique Voynet (Green party) is also of great
interest. It considers the ecology of free software.

Michel Rocard, from socialist party, give a report about
digital era, as advices to Segolène Royal. As an european
deputy, Michel Rocard was the main actor of the battle against
	software patents.

This is very pleasant to see that free software and more largely
the information society and digital culture are of
importance that candidates to a presidential election
have teams that can write answers to a very complete
(and complex) questionnary. It's a very good sign, that
surely will spread in others countries. Political programs
now have slants of interest to the information society,
and it's important news for the a2k activists.
