The thinking is that the Paris Accord would address several
substantive areas, including recorded music performances, films,
blogging, software, scholarly research and biomedicine. The 1st
consolidated text will attempt to pull together the proposals in each
on these areas, and present some type of introduction. The english
version should be ready by *Tuesday*.

It may be that the text is far from being ready by next week, when
the meeting takes place, and we mostly discuss the text, and do what
we can to advance the discussion, including the cross-issue learning,
which I think will be quite useful.

In terms of expectations, we should consider a range of
possibilities. One would be that we come out of Tuesday with an
accord. Another is we come out with an accord weeks or months later,
and further work and negotiation among stakeholder. Another is that
we would need another meeting later, also in Paris, to finish the
job. I think we should think about what would be the best
strategy, in terms of getting things right, and making process (two
related but different goals).
