Hi all,
during the notetaking effort at WIPO it occured to me that it is not
good that those who use Free Software are excluded from this
collaborative effort. So I looked around and found
Gobby
http://darcs.0x539.de/trac/obby/cgi-bin/trac.cgi
as a Free Software implementation of the concept.
I have not yet managed to try it extensively, and it is in an early
version, but it looks interesting and attractive enough. Apparently it
runs on GNU/Linux, Windows and MacOS X.
Since we never have time to try something like this when we are all at
WIPO, maybe we should give it a look in between sessions, which is why
I'm bringing this up now.
As it is usally our Mac users who do this task, maybe you can have a
look at the Mac version and see whether it works for you -- or where
you have problems.
Try to send feedback, or if you don't know how to do this, let me
know: I'll try to pass the reports on, maybe that feedback will help
improve the software in case it is not yet ready for us to do this
task across multiple operating systems and without forcing people into
proprietary software.
Regards,
Georg
