[A2k] May 15, 2005-Dealine for WIPO applications for permanent observer status

We have received clarification from the International Bureau of WIPO that the deadline to apply
for permament observer status at WIPO for 2005 is May 15, 2005.  All the relevant information required
for the application can be found at:

Applications should be submitted to WIPO's Office of Legal Counsel.

National NGOs who seek to expedite the proccess for accreditation are at an advantage when their application
is sent with an endorsement or acknowledgement of sorts from their respective governments.
