re also important
players in WIPO=92s program in developing countries.=A0They represent a
variety of interests, whether business, professional or civil, and it
is WIPO=92s policy to engage them in regular dialogue and to facilitate
debate among them, and with governments in open fora.=A0It has been
WIPO=92s experience that open discussion, where different views are
heard, is conducive to the decision-makers in developing countries and
LDCs=A0making informed choices and committing themselves thereafter to
the implementation of those choices.=A0This inclusive approach will be
continued by WIPO, especially in the challenging tasks ahead of
applying intellectual property to realize economic wealth, technology,
know-how and employment.
