          NGO discussion on WTO and TRIPS

               Sponsored by 

               Consumer Project on Technology 
               Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF)
               Health Action International, and 
               Institutue for Agiculture and Trade Policy. 


     This will be a discussion of the WTO's Agreement on Trade Related
Aspects of International Trade (TRIPS), on December 1, 1999, from 10AM
to Noon. 

     The location will be the the Madison Room, which is in the 4th
floor in the Madison Hotel. 

     The topics covered will include, but not be limited to: 

         Access to Medicines 
         Electronic Commerce 
         TRIPS and the enviroment 
         TRIPS and biotechnology
