Discuss the facts of the potential law not the politics!

Hello!
Quite a surprise to see you guys pop into my e-mail!
It has been a long time.....
Yes, I dropped out back there because the list had
been taken over by voluminous paranoic rantings...........
It was too much negative malarchy to be bothered with it.
I truly enjoyed and appreciated the positive and constructive
contributions, and productive effort we put forward in the
early days of the list, IN SPITE OF G.P................
I just clicked delete on the G.P. entries this time....
If everyone else would do that automatically, rather than
trying to get GP to comprehend something rational, perhaps
it would be good to get the list going again..........

There really are REAL privacy issues out there, such as
that mentioned by Bruce here.........

This past Winter/Spring I was looking into refinancing my home
which is at 9%, (tho' through a private deal, not a bank) ....and
therefore had a credit check run on me.....was actually quite
pleased to discover that I did not exist out there.....tho' this is not
"good for credit" prospects, at least I have not been included in
the mess that is as Bruce has mentioned. This would be a VERY
good topic for group involvement, with the aim in mind of pushing
government into taking the corrective actions needed to protect
all citizens from the abuse now promulgated by the current state
of credit info. collection and dissemination........
Thanks, Bruce.
And Thanks, too, for telling GP the way of it so clearly and well.
Could we all agree to delete paranoics and thereby be able to
do something constructive with this list?
