A Challenge to Laura

Hey Laura;

  You have claimed that I don't have an open mind. I of course am highly 
skeptical of yours. I just checked on Heilbroner, and it appears there are 
three books that would seem to lay out some of his ideas:

a. The Nature and Logic of Capitalism (1986)

b. 21st Century Capitalism (1994)

c. Visions of the Future (1996)

  Since you have undoubtedly read Heilbroner, perhaps you can make a 
recommendation.

  Now, here's my challenge:

  I will carefully read and thoughtfully review a Heilbroner book of your 
choosing, and present my review to this list, if you will carefully read, 
and thoughtfully review, the recent book by David Kelley, "A Life of One's 
Own" (available almost anywhere, including Amazon.com). If you agree, let's 
make it timely and set a deadline for the reviews that we both can agree 
on. Say, around 22 Mar 99. Something like that.
