In my job, I get warnings about various end-of-the-binary-world virii,
hoaxes, scams, etc. on an almost daily basis.  In my quest to stop
plugging up E-Mail, I'm submitting to the list the following boilerplate
that I send to my users.  It is a good idea to visit these sites and
bookmark a couple of them for future reference...

Many of us get warnings of Virii, free money, work-at-home schemes, and
free trips to Disneyland in our E-Mail.  For quite some time now, I've
been hunting these down and letting the listservs I'm on about which are
real (about 10%) and which are fake.

BEFORE you forward a message on to the rest of the world (in good faith)
to warn everybody about impending doom, please check out one of these
sites.  I have been to all of them and they are all good resources (to
varying degrees) for verifying or debunking hoaxes, Virii, SPAM, "good
deal", etc...
