  Right now in Dallas SWBT is charging $70.74 for the basic rate for 2B+D with
  unlimited time.  When the Fed. tax of $1.88 is added to it and State and
  local taxes of $5.16 are included the total is $77.78 per month. 
  
  That is what I am paying now.  I did not sign a contract but I had to pay an
  installation charge of $500.00.  
  
  I think you should definitely argue for lower rates.
