NON-OPPOSITION TO BAT/ROTHMANS CONCENTRATION

Spicer's Centre for Europe via NewsEdge Corporation : European Union, May. 11, 
1999 (Spicers Centre for Europe) -- Notice of  non-opposition to a notified 
concentration in Case No IV/M.1415 -  BAT/Rothmans. The Commission has decided 
not to oppose this  concentration and has declared it compatible with the 
common market  under the terms of Article 6(1)(b) of Council Regulation No 
4064/89.
