DO NOT OPEN "PANTHER.EXE" --- VIRUS TRANSMISSION ON DIOXIN-L

DO NOT OPEN THE FILE  "PANTHER.EXE"  which was
just transmitted on DIOXIN-L   with a web site identification
of   stuart.messagemates......... and two lines about animation.....

PANTHER.EXE contains a virus "worm"   W32.NewApt.worm

JUST DELETE PANTHER.EXE  WITHOUT OPENING IT.


If you already opened panther.exe, your computer will be
infected and you will need a virus program to remove it

FRom the message I received it is impossible to tell who
on the Dioxin-l list sent this message....  I know it was not
my computer that was infected........   Here is more information
on this worm virus....

This is a brand new virus surfacing in the last week so if
you have not downloaded a recent virus definition file
in the last week, your virus checker will not catch it.
