Neil Tangri at essential.org recently posted information
about elevated levels of dioxin revealed by blood tests of a
population of 28 people. He cites toxicologist Ken
Orloff's as reporting the following:
"The real issue in our mind, at this point, is
what is the source of this exposure and we
don't know at this time. However, we are
proposing that some additional sampling be
done, specifically testing of water, sediment
and fish from the bayous and of ambient air."
Another significant finding is that updated
testing shows dioxin levels have fallen in the
general population. That means the gap is
wider than first thought between most people
and Mossville residents.
Where can I obtain more information about dioxin levels
in humans, fish and so forth in the the US and elsewhere?
