cancer, b. defects in VC factory towns-old study
_More than a paycheck: An Introduction to Occupational Cancer_, an old
('78) OSHA pamphlet I just came across, makes an uncited reference: "One
study of 3 towns in which vinyl chloride factories are located indicated an
abnormal rate of cancer of the nervous system, as well as an abnormal
number of birth defects, among the entire population." However, the
pamphlet was "develped by John Henry Jones, for the Geo. Washington U.
School of Medicine & Health Svcs.', in case you haven't heard of this
result and want to track it down.
