Re: Crematorium

>From the Air-Mail list serve:

"Mercury in absurdly tiny concentrations is lethal to plants and animals. A
single teaspoon can contaminate the fish in a 25-acre lake. Humans who eat
the
contaminated fish can suffer permanent kidney failure, tremors, severe
brain
damage and death.

"Mercury passes through the placenta and breast milk, causing deformity in
unborn
children and retardation in nursing babies. Mercury in fish also poisons
birds,
marine mammals and other wildlife. "

How many amalgam fillings would it take to make a teaspoonful--I'm
estimating a filling weight of about 30 to 50 milligrams, which are about
half
mercury, and that teaspoon is about 1 gram, so that would be one teaspoon
of mercury per 40 to 60 teeth. Any dentists out there who could get a more

precise number?
