Jon Cambell is correct and deals with
specific information on creating dioxin.
My and website and comments touch
on "incineration" but tend toward dioxin
health effects, political action and

Glitches don't count as much as actual
parts per trillion dioxin and the presences
of other 3,700 porphyrinogenic substances.
Please go back over the previous ~5 years
of posts on this forum about various "incinerator"
designs which still produce dioxin in the flue
gas and in the ash.
See specific comments on what happens when
carbon in the waste closes into benzene rings
which pick up chlorine and other halides
to form dioxin as the flue gas cools.

The hardest thing to understand about
dioxin is the extreme toxicity at extremely
small amounts.
In years past, civil and mechanic engineers
rarely had books that talked about concentrations
below 1 part per million. Civil and mechanical
engineers push incineration in many flavors
but it is still completing the Dioxin Triangle.
Dioxin is toxic at parts per trillion and below.
Your important questions should include:
1. Show me in writing tests down to 1 part
per trillion or less dioxin in the exit gas and
in the ash.
2. Prove to me by Tests and Health Registries
that endocrine disruption conditions will not
increase from any and all materials which
exit the unit.
Diabetes at 6% and doubling in US which
is only exceeded by Japan in dioxin production.
Porphyria at 9% is no longer rare.
(Porphyria leads to disruption of the P450
detox system which leads to further gene damage
from common toxins building up)
Porphyria is doubling every 20 years or less.
Dioxin induced fetal, thyroid mediated, brain
defects are linked to Attention Deficit Hyperactive
Disorder, ADHD.
ADHD drug Ritalin rates are reported by some
at 12% of children. (Adults also take it)
Some cities like Jacksonville Florida fail to
graduate 52% of children who have high
rates ADHD and a history of exposure to
PCB-chlorine material incineration.
These and other dioxin linked ED chronic
degenerative diseases sometime do not
appear until 40 to 60 years of accumulation.
Many conditions like diabetes appear
between age 40 and 60 although we are
see increases in childhood insulin dependent
diabetes in the US.
As the country music song says "don't do
as I have done son....."

request to the power industry which wants
to burn Petroleum Coke Waste here.

have been avoiding endocrine disruption
and dioxin for decades.

Hi all,
This may not be the right forum but we need some information.
A WTE plant is coming up in Chennai (MAdras).
It is an Australian firm and they plan to use something called 'autoclaving
and pyrolysis gasifier'. They have installed a plant in Louisiana that has
had a 1000 hr run without any glitches.
Does any one know what does IT do.
They say ' In this technology, the
entire garbage is first made into pulp and heated to about 1300 degrees
Celsius to extract gas. The gas is then used to work a turbine to produce
electricity...'
Can you help.
