A request to all list-users:

PLEASE DON'T SEND ATTACHMENTS TO THE LIST!

For those of us with slow internet connections, attachments (particularly
long ones) can be death. They are costly and can cause a tenuous connection
to crash. So if you have a long document that you want to distribute, send
a brief description to the list and those of us who want (and can handle)
the document will ask for it.
