Smaltz will be the featured speakers at an upcoming two-day
conference, Corporate Crime in America.
The conference, sponsored by Corporate Crime Reporter, will be
held at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. on October 16
and 17, 1997.
"Corporations are increasingly preoccupied with corporate
crime," said Russell Mokhiber, editor of Corporate Crime Reporter.
"Big time law-firms spend mega resources to derail investigations of
it -- or they end up defending their corporate clients in the courts
of law and public opinion."
Mokhiber said the conference will bring together the
