   A while back I contacted the editor there, and he said they know 
ListBot is a Microsoft owned company and they have plans to move to their 
own mailing list system as soon as the site programmers get finished with 
other projects and can work on a way to do it. The Register is apparently 
a small budget operation, so it may be a while yet before that happens.
