Sun does not control what other operating systems do. Nor does it
control what Netscape does. Neither do they control what Microsoft does
or HP.
They may want to. And, maybe they should but you can not blame Sun for
what other companies do. In fact, Sun was criticized for not pursuing
an open standard, right? Or, for not letting others also participate in
the process.
Nothing matches the harm done to Java by Microsoft. And, they did it
illegally fully intending the harm. Microsoft engaged in intentional
sabotage. Sun may make mistakes but they are not ruining the trademark
you own.
