Java helps prove consumers want technology unbundled

The success of Java is in large part due to the fact that it is not tied
to any particular platform. Sure it is a nice language. But, that is
NOT what Java is all about.

Java is attractive to consumers and developers alike because it is not
tied to any one platform. It may not be write once run everywhere quite
yet. But, it is clearly not a technology that restricts the ability of
consumers to benefit from multiple platforms.

On the contrary, bundled technology offered only on a single platform
does restrict consumers. And, that is only one way in which bundling
harms consumers.

Please read the examination question. Better yet, answer it if you can.

(For those who have their head in the sand, they will get zeros as
expected.)
