Yes it is for some consumers.
But, that is why you have to classify your consumers.
For those consumers without internet connections or simply do not want
internet connections, being forced to buy either Navigator or IE is
still unfair and harmful.
Those who prefer Navigator might be happy. Unless they already have
that application.
Does anyone really suggest that all new applications must be purchased
by all consumers when they upgrade their OS?
If anyone does suggest that, I will call that suggestion stupid. Does
it apply to the browser? Absolutely it does. Read the Bill Gates piece.
