A friend, who is a journalist of decades of experience and high
reputation, and who has lived in Munich lo, these many years, says of
the article, which I forwarded to him:

the Scientology crowd ? Under the German constitution cultural
matters, including those pertaining to religion, are privy to the
governments of the Laender, not the federal government--as,
