Register report on AT&T/MS deal
The Register has an interesting report on a Senate hearing in which
Orrin Hatch asked AT&T's Michael Armstrong about Microsoft:

Armstrong made an interesting comment about AT&T's contracts with
Microsoft and their requirements for public disclosure of some APIs.
It's not clear to me what specific APIs he was talking about, although they
are probably limited to any APIs AT&T uses in its set-top boxes...
