Strangely enough, I agree. I and many others on this list have been
part of the "Brett Problem" by responding to his off-topic posts,
though I've tried to limit it; sometimes people have deliberately
posted "Brett bait" and on other occasions I've exhorted people to sit
on their hands and stick to the on-topic stuff, but it seemed the will
wasn't quite there. In the end, removing Brett seemed to be the only
viable path left towards returning the list to usefulness.
Now, let's get to work!
