This is my greatest fear as well.  Once Microsoft says, 'okay, we are
wrong, we can solve this, we will break up,' we lose.  If the solution
is Microsoft's it won't be near enough.  Unfortunately, once Microsoft
says this, there will be a large contingency who support it, including
Microsoft supporters, and folks who prefer to keep the government out of
such issues.
