I can't say that I agree, Paul.

While I *am* tired of the GPL topic and I do think that Brett does have
a tendency to repeat what we've all heard, I also feel that Brett has
contributed valuable information to the list.

Further, I don't see these debates as being quite so one sided as you
apparently do: there's no question that Brett is the main catalyst, but
there's also no question that he's been baited and (at times) attacked
by others on the list. 

It might just be me, but I think that this whole thread (started by
Jamie) is just as off-topic for this list as anything Brett has ever
posted. I mean, really, is the topic of discussion "Appraising
Microsoft" or is this an "Appraising Brett Glass" mailing list?

Yeah, I'm as sick of this stuff as anyone else, but put me down as
being opposed to censoring Brett. We lose more than we gain when we
start down that pathway.
