No OS Option

Even better than proving Linux with a computer would be if Dell and other
companies would provide NO OS with the computer. Dell has nothing to lose from
doing this and it would save them some $$$ and cost nothing to do. 

I like the idea someone was giving earlier about loading old versions of Win95
onto some of these systems. There is no reason my new computer needs to run the
an OS designed to run server software (NT, Linux etc...) when all I need is
single-tasking word-processing.
