This has links and comments that may be of interest. Also it has towards
the bottom of the page two ways to offer your own comments. You can write
to Ray Nimmer, the Article 2B Reporter. As the Reporter, Nimmer is the
person primarily responsible for authoring Article 2B and sheparding it
through the drafting process. You can also write to the representatives in
your state that serve on the National Conference of Commissioners on
Uniform State Laws, one of the organizations drafting the law. Both Nimmer
and NCCUSL are in favor of the current version of 2B despite the objections
made by consumer advocates and the copyright crowd. The other organization
that is responsible for Article 2B is the American Law Institute. Thus far
ALI members have been more critical of 2B than NCCUSL and letters to the
president of ALI may spur ALI on to object to the anti-consumer content of
the draft law. You can write to:
