in the new Cl Free Products Assctn n-ltr archie beaton quotes the authors
(easton et al.) of the recent _water sci. & techn._ 2/'97 research that
found genetic damage in juvenille chinook salmon exposed to diluted (down
to 1% if I recall) **100% ClO2** P&P mill effluent as having added
thousandfold to the sensitivity of their method and finding DNA damage at
all concentrations tested in their new as yet unpublished tests on baby
salmon.  it also says geneticist dr. Michael Easton & coauthor Dr. Raj
Misra are w/ Int'l Broodstock Technologies; other coauthors are w/ W
Vancouver Laboratories, Dpt Fisheries & Oceans.
