The steel industry and dioxins/furans

I'm trying to find any available information on the steel industry/ steel
production and emissions of dioxins/furans.  I have a very scant bit of
information on Canadian steel producers - all I know is that sinter plants
are a likely source. I guess I'm keen to find out if the US EPA or other US
research institutes have done a more thorough investigation of the steel
industry as a source of dioxins/furans.  Can anyone help me with this?
