Michael,

Many people are familiar with the work that you did in helping
to push the IAHC and CORE agendas. During that time, you made
many statements which made experts sit back and say, "What ?"
"Who does he think he is kidding ?"

The above statement falls into this category...let's analyze it...

1. "That fee schedule was not created by ARIN staff"
OK, I have a feeling that you have a narrow definition for
the ARIN "staff" and can probably claim they were not
hired until after they had the opportunity to work for NSI
	through their IPO.

2. "It was created by the board of trustees"
I assume that we have to now ask, are you referring to the
board of trustees of ARIN ? Since it was commonly reported
that the fee structure came from APNIC and RIPE, I guess
we could find later that you really mean those boards. If you
are referring to the board of trustees of ARIN, we have to ask
"which" board ? There was a board that was widely publicized
on the ARIN site to "market" ARIN to people. When people
checked the actual ARIN documents, only three NSI people
make up the "legal Board". When the "web site" Board was
asked about this, they claimed that ARIN had not secured
"insurance" to cover them, so they were not yet on the Board.
Now the web site board has changed because evidently some
people have resigned. Who is on the "legal Board" of ARIN ?

3. "after several months of various public consultations"
ARIN was railroaded. The fees were posted. That was about it.

4. "it was ratified by the members of ARIN"
This is very special. When did this occur ? How did it happen ?
There were no members when the fees were established...

The advisory role that you play for ARIN seems to be similar to the
role that you played for the IAHC/CORE movement. I would remind
you that the IAHC/CORE movement did not exactly get rave reviews
in the U.S. As a Canadian you might not care about the U.S. market
or what we think of your proposals, but I would also remind you that
ARIN is an IRS approved non-profit corporation based in the U.S.
That makes it subject to U.S. law and not "Dillon's law"....just in case
people are confused...
