I don't know anything about this merger.  But I understand that it is a
merger between two Brittish firms.  In light of the unprecedented
US reaction - hostility, lobbying, speeches, etc - to a proposed European
action against the Boeing/McDonnell Douglas merger, the odds that the FTC
or DOJ will block the merger are extremely low.  Even if prices to
US consumers might rise---
