DOJ wimped out
If a manufacturer is compelled to commit resources, including time to
de-install, by the government, the cost associated with the time to
de-install is in fact money that comes from total revenues and subsequently
profits.
>> manufacturers the right to remove IE(certainly at some cost) after the OS
>> install. Is that cost passed on to consumers....or Netscape....and would
>> any government action to compel "no cost to the consumer" removal
>> constitute an illegal taking of manufacturers' property?
