If Navigator is free, do the anti-trust laws still apply?
Should I now argue that Navigator used to be a product available for
trade, but was driven from the commercial market by MS, and that
therefor my suit is still valid? For the non-lawyers on the list, let
me mention that MS is fond of checking to see if I bought Win95 and
Navigator on the grounds that the anti-trust laws only govern trade, not
other activities.
I can also argue that opera and other browsers are of interest to me
(they are, and if it wasn't for MS anti-competitive practices they would
have the resources to develop into better browsers.)
