Maybe Prof. Di Cosmo could use his influence with HP to convince them to
release the specs for their "Win Printers" so that proper Linux drivers
could be written for them.  I have an HP DeskJet 820Cse (bought before I
began using LInux) and the only driver available for it was hacked and is
only semi-functional.
