Type One Adobe fonts and ATM may be dead on the Windows platform, but
they're alive and kicking on the Mac. Most in the graphic arts community
prefer ATM to TrueType -- they'd go berserk if forced to change for
political rather than technical reasons. The fundamental illegitimacy of
Microsoft's forced march on font technologies is witnessed by the ease
with which these methods, and the others, can coexist.
