Rename them if you wish, but I've talked to Netscape support about this
and although you indicate that it keeps track of what's read or unread,
that is not a big deal. Since the Netscape folks said it would be okay
to remove them, I would think this would be acceptable. As I recall,
you can rebuild them by selecting the 'compact all folders' option under
the 'file' menu.

Out of sync yeah, but that won't happen if you remove (rename) the
summary files. :)
