Call me pessimistic. But ever since a meeting with Microsoft exec Brad Chase 
in 1989 (yes, it was evident that long ago!), I've maintained what I call 
"Glass's postulate concerning Microsoft partners." It goes as follows.

There are three kinds of Microsoft partners: 

1. Those that have been run out of business or betrayed by Microsoft;

2  Those that have been acquired by Microsoft for too little money; and

3. Those to which neither of these things has happened... yet.
