The above link points to an analysis of Spyglass with their rise and
fall. I points out that MS started negotiations in August of 94 and
didn't finally set on a deal till Dec of 94. If I remember correctly,
and I may not on this one, when Spyglass orginally refused the 100,000
offer, MS set to making their own browser and apparently had problems
forcing them back to the table with Spyglass.
