For Microsoft, this is a catch-22 scenario.  They can't have it both
ways.  If they are not a exploiting their monopoly status in the OS
environment, how is it then that this is such an impact on the economy? 
It's complete crap anyway, it's not like every corporation around the
world will stop functioning if Win98 is stalled/delayed.  People will
continue to buy computers, although there may be a small number of folks
who will delay to for the outcome.
