I've personally had very good experience with a number of local shops.
I've not purchased a complete system, but built one piece meal,
purchasing various parts from various vendors in order to get the best
price. I've had them ship me parts directly to my home, charging a
reasonable shipping/handling and they replaced both a cdrom and a
motherboard without question when each went toes up. The cdrom was 3
days inside the end of the warranty. I don't know if it's because I
pretty much knew what I was looking for, or what, but I've had very good
results. In comparison to, say Packard Hell, my first computer
mistake. I wanted to get some info on reconfiguring my hard drive. All
they would offer was how to configure it to the way it came. Best Buys
techies told me that you couldn't have two modems on one computer. I
knew better, and both my modems work fine. I don't know how 'techie'
you are, but I've gotten to the point that I'm relatively well versed in
the hardware area, consequently, this may be the difference.

NT is secure.... as long as you don't remove the shrink wrap.
Want to speed up your NT box real cheap? Replace NT with Linux...
