WANTED: AN EXPRESSION OF MARKET DEMAND

Ladies and Gentleman, Please hear me out, this is not a solicitation for profit.
This request for response pertains to OS/2 and Mac users (and anyone but
Windoze users for that matter). I have a specific request from the national
sales manager for NewTech Infosystems for "ammunition" to convince his
company to develop application software and driver support for non-Microsoft
systems. His company produces CD Maker Pro (but thus far only for Windoze).
He would like evidence of a substantial interest in OS/2 and Mac compatible
software (YOU KNOW - WHERE's THE MARKET?) to bring to the table.
I have been on the lookout for a CDR/CDRW drive that is compatible with OS/2.
I went looking for application software first to backtrack to the supported hardware.
And all my responses thus far have been "we are thinking about/discussing the
possibility of supporting OS/2 however no determination has been made yet".
This the ONE company where another representative expressed specific interest
in promoting alternative software, and claimed to be able to produce in a timely
fashion, pending a convincing indication of demand.
LET THEM HAVE IT IN SPADES. THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO BE HEARD.
WHO KNOWS - IT MIGHT START A TREND OF APPLICATIONS PROVIDED
FOR ALL PLATFORMS. SEND YOUR EXPRESSIONS OF SUPPORT TO

Joe Heavern, National Sales Manager, NewTech Infosystems, Inc.

                                     JHeavern@NTIus.com

                (further Company info via http://www.NTIus.com).

And no, I have no affiliation with this particular company. I am just sick and tired
of the "poor relation" treatment and want to take advantage of this opportunity
to sway the industry in favor of alternative platforms (OSs). NO MATTER
WHAT YOUR CHOSEN PLATFORM IS, LET 'EM KNOW YOU ARE OUT
THERE, AND MAYBE WE CAN MAKE A HABIT OUT OF THIS WITH REGARD
TO ALL SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE SUPPLIERS.

Thank you for hearing me out. And I apologize if I have contacted you with what
you consider to be an inappropriate request. I don't.

Sincerely,
